Mr. Brownlie is the metro New York area life science industry leader. He has been with Ernst & Young for more than 34 years. He has extensive experience with SEC registration statements including IPOs and recurring reporting. His industry and professional qualifications include extensive experience auditing and facilitating the public offerings of entrepreneurial companies, mergers and acquisitions, financing alternatives and other entrepreneurial business issues. Mr. Brownlie is a member of Ernst & Young's National Life Sciences Committee, the New Jersey, New York and Connecticut Society of CPAs, and the American Institute of CPAs. In February 2008, Dr. Geert Cauwenbergh founded Phases123 LLC, a company focused on identifying high potential health care technology platforms and companies. Before Phases123, he founded Barrier Therapeutics Inc. in 2001 as a biopharmaceutical company with emphasis on the R&D of novel agents for skin diseases.

Peter DeComo, CEO, Renal Solutions, Inc.
Pete DeComo became the CEO of Renal Solutions, Inc. (RSI), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fresenius Medical Care Holdings (FMCHI) subsequent to a merger on November 26, 2007. Prior to this he was the chairman, CEO and co-founder of RSI, which was developing a revolutionary dialysis technology for patients with kidney failure. Total consideration paid by FMCHI was $200 MM at a pre-revenue stage. Mr. DeComo is a director on the boards of the Pittsburgh Life Sciences Greenhouse and the Pittsburgh Technology Council in addition to being a director with three early-stage companies. Michael Dowzicky, M.S., MT ASCP graduated from Thomas Jefferson University with a Master of Science degree in Clinical Microbiology in 1989.
